The Rocky Mountain Affiliate was officially founded in the Spring of 2016 with a Founding Father class of 18 brothers. Now, almost two years later, we have over 40 initiated members, housing for 16 brothers, two brothers on the Interfraternity Executive Council, and have participated in many events across the Greek community.

In the Fall of 2014, Brother Lucas Zahorik (RKMT '18) became an initiated member of the Alpha Delta Phi while attending the University of Alabama. After his freshman year, he transferred back to his home state of Colorado to attend the University of Colorado at Boulder. With support from the International Board of Governors, he decided to attempt to colonize at CU. After recruiting a few early members, expansion efforts began, eventually leading to the recruiting of 18 final members of the founding class.

Within 6 months, the colony was officially recognized as an affiliate by the Independent Interfraternity Council at CU Boulder, a record time for achieving affiliate status. The second school year of the affiliates existence would prove even more impressive. A Fall class of 10 was initiated, putting membership at 28 men. The same semester, two brothers, Thomas Cheesman (RKMT '18) and Lucas Zahorik were selected by the Interfraternity Council's executive board to serve as Director of Recruitment and Director of Technology, respectively.

Following the quick growth and involvement of the affiliate, Alpha Delta Phi was honored with the Most Improved Chapter Award at the 2016 IFC Greek Awards. These accomplishments would not be possible without the strength of our brotherhood and the dedicated efforts of elected officers and brothers across the entire affiliate. We are proud of what we have done, and look forward to where we are heading.

To our members, alumni, parents, and community members who have helped us get to where we are, we say thank you and Xaipe.
